The position of the rack vertical column is adjustable back and forth along the drawbar. This adjustability allows you to bring the load closer to the vehicle on cars or move it back to clear vans, vehicles with recessed hitches, and SUVs with externally mounted spare tires. The rack hitch bar is also easy to remove for flat storage of the carrier.
