Truckee™ bike racks can be converted to a Tow-N-Carry style bike carrier by removing the adjustable length base and installing a 2" x 2" extended length ball mount. This allows you to carry up to four bikes and tow a camper or trailer at the same time. Hitch-Vise™ anti-rattle hitch clamp # HT-3 (sold separately) stabilizes the rack and is recommended if you have a compatible trailer hitch.

- Ball mounts are customer furnished items and are not included with Tow-N-Carry racks. Ball mounts are available at your local hitch dealer or auto parts store.
- For clearance planning purposes, the first bike loaded hangs directly above the hitch ball on a 12" ball mount (12" from hitch pin hole to ball hole.) The bike support arms are located 40" above the ball mount slide-in shank. Determine what your turning clearance will be before purchasing a Tow-N-Carry rack.
- Tow-N-Carry racks affect the tongue weight rating of your hitch. Refer to Trailer Hitch Talk for more information.
- Tow-N-Carry rack configuration is for use on 2" Class III receiver hitches only.
