Customer satisfaction is our top goal at Hitch Rider. To fulfill your order and provide customer support, we collect customer information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, make/model of vehicle, bicycle/tricycle to be carried, and payment information when processing an order. This information allows us to process payment, verify product compatibility, provide shipping information to the shipment carrier, and provide direct customer assistance if necessary.
We do not rent or disclose any customer information with anyone else beyond the extent necessary to process and ship your order. E-mail addresses are used for Hitch Rider to communicate with the customer and/or provide up-to-date shipping information and are not shared with anyone else.
Effective June 2008.
Products can be returned by the original purchaser in new condition within 30 days of order shipment. An original sales invoice is required for returns. A 20% restocking charge applies to rack returns. The item must be returned to us shipping pre-paid via traceable means. Shipping and handling is non-refundable. All returns are subject to inspection. We will not provide a refund for items altered in any way or not in retail condition.

In stock products typically ship within 1-2 business days of order receipt. Backorders are orders for products currently out of stock. We update our web site daily with in stock and out of stock notices. In the event an ordered product is out of stock, we will send an e-mail confirming the order and stock status. Customers will not be charged for a backorder until the product is restocked. Backorders are fulfilled in the same order as they are received.
