Side View of Adjustable Length Rack Base

Bike racks come with an adjustable length base that adjusts the rack to vehicle clearance. The drawbar is easy to remove from the adjustable collar for compact rack storage. A special order extended length drawbar is available for up to 6" additional clearance. Replacing the rack base drawbar with a 2" x 2" ball mount configures the rack for Tow-N-Carry use on Class III hitches.

Steel sleeve style Adapt-a-Rack™ (patented) attaches over the rack base drawbar for 2" hitches and removes for 1 1/4" hitches. The tab stop sets depth to automatically align rack and vehicle hitch pin holes.

The included Spool Head threaded hitch pin tightens the rack base in the hitch. A locking Spool Head pin is also available. Bike and rack can be locked to the vehicle with a bike security cable and regular padlock.
